The General Store
Shop our beautifully renovated general store for any occasion or just for fun. The store is overflowing with “anything but ordinary” gifts including: painted glassware, handcrafted quilts, rugs, table clothes and kitchen accessories, lamps, lotions, soaps, tea pots, jewelry, art and wooden spoons to name a few. We offer many lines of gourmet foods, including Paula Deen, Gullah Gourmet and Low Country Produce. Flickering Light candles, seasonal arrangements and unique items from local crafters fill our shelves.

We can assemble your selection in a gift basket or ship it for you. Our customer service and friendly atmosphere are reminiscent of the original store operated by the Thomas Family for 100 years!

Stop by for a visit—things change daily. Take time to savor a cup of coffee or tea and browse awhile – you won’t want to leave until you have seen it all!

The Coffee Shop
We offer Grama’s homemade baked goods, lattes, cappuccinos, fruit smoothies, hot tea, French Press service and blended coffees in our cozy coffee area.

Our large “community” table is just right for visiting with friends and reading the “orders”, dating 1886 to 1889, from the original store. We found these treasures in a desk drawer! Or, choose a smaller table, bring your laptop and take advantage of our Wi-Fi service.

We have many varieties of teas and coffee beans for sale in the coffee shop.
