The General Store
Shop our beautifully renovated general store for any occasion or just for fun. The store is overflowing with “anything but ordinary” gifts including: painted glassware, handcrafted quilts, rugs, table clothes and kitchen accessories, lamps, lotions, soaps, tea pots, jewelry, art and wooden spoons to name a few. We offer many lines of gourmet foods, including, Gullah Gourmet, Rothchild, Plentiful Pantry, and Low Country Produce. We also have a lot of  unique items from local crafters filling our shelves.

We can assemble your selection in a gift basket or ship it for you. Our customer service and friendly atmosphere are reminiscent of the original store operated by the Thomas Family for 100 years!

Stop by for a visit—things change daily. Take time to savor a cup of coffee or tea and browse awhile – you won’t want to leave until you have seen it all!

Coffee Shop Deli--BRAND NEW!!!
We have opened a new coffee shop deli!  You are now able to enjoy a latte, a fruit smoothie, or a cup of hot tea while enjoying a delicious deli sandwich.  Come in to see our entire menu.  And, as always we offer Grama’s homemade baked goods!

Our large “community” table is just right for visiting with friends and reading the “orders”, dating 1886 to 1889, from the original store. We found these treasures in a desk drawer! Or, choose a smaller table, bring your laptop and take advantage of our Wi-Fi service.

We have many varieties of teas and coffee beans for sale in the coffee shop.
